I’m L. M. Hawkes, creator of Vault of Ages — a curated collection of historically informed ancient Roman art designed for educators. I taught computer science at a K–12 private school in the early 1990s, where I saw firsthand how visual resources can transform a history or art lesson from abstract to unforgettable. After years in technology, I returned to education through a different door: building tools that bring ancient civilizations to life visually for classrooms and homeschool families. My current work focuses on creating classroom‑safe, historically grounded visual packs and context guides for ancient history, classical education, and Charlotte Mason picture study.
