About This Lesson

Expressing Wishes and Regrets: Communicative Practice Activities is a set of engaging classroom activities designed to help students practise wishes, regrets, and criticism of past actions in a natural and meaningful way. Through activities such as Find Someone Who, What Went Wrong?, Reverse Guessing Game, and Letter to My Past Self, students move, speak, guess, reflect, and write while using structures such as I wish…, If only…, and should have.

The activities combine grammar practice with real-life communication, creativity, personal reflection, and problem-solving. This makes the lesson dynamic, memorable, and highly interactive while building both accuracy and confidence in speaking and writing.
