The 9/11 Memorial & Museum is excited to participate in this year's Share My Lesson Virtual Conference!
My name is Meredith and I am the Assistant Manager of Youth & Family Programs at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City. My colleague Jen and I are leading a session at 6 p.m. next Thursday March 25 focusing on how to leverage first-person narratives to connect 9/11 with the current COVID-19 pandemic. As an ENL teacher I find myself continuously balancing ENL strategies and practices with content area curriculum and assessments.

As Meredith has said, she and I are very excited to meet all of you virtually! In my nearly seven years at the Museum, I've seen how much first person narratives can change and deepen a student's relationship to the content, and I'm looking forward to sharing many with you all!
