2021 AFT TEACH Conference

Hello, I am Cyntavia Seney. I teach Social Studies and Business Ed grades 9 through 12 in Colorado Springs, CO. I teach citizenship both digitally and socially. I am hoping to learn more techniques that I can incorporate into the classroom.

I'm looking forward to learning more about creating a culturally responsive learning environment.

I love teaching my class, they so eager to learn. They love anything to do with science. Next school year I hope to be back in the class, being virtual is hard.

I am an Intervention Specialist and I hoping the conference will cover how to provide better support to those students with significant needs during virtual learning sessions and how to engage general ed. teachers to provide better differentiation across the board so that all learners are included.

I am a Behavior Interventionist for a K-6 elementary school in Missouri. I am interested in creating anti-racist classrooms, schools, and districts. I want to help create safe brave spaces.

Health, Physical Education & Dance Teacher. I would love to see more information on how to create anti-racist grading.

Grade 6-8 Special Education Math Teacher in Annapolis, MD. I want to hear about differentiation.

I am hoping to learn additional techniques to help me and my staff members become more equitable in all of our approaches concerning students and learning.

I am always looking for help with all the differentiation help I can get since my students are very varied in ability, disability and skills
