About This Webinar

Teaching is an emotional profession. From the moment the day begins, educators are navigating student needs, adult dynamics, time pressure, and constant decision-making. Emotional intelligence is what allows educators to stay grounded in the middle of it all without losing themselves in the process.

This webinar is designed specifically for educators and explores emotional intelligence through the lens of daily school life. Participants will learn how emotions show up in the classroom, in meetings, and in moments of stress, and why emotional intelligence is essential for sustaining both effectiveness and well-being. Grounded in brain science and real educator experiences, this session reframes emotional intelligence as a practical, learnable skill that supports presence, boundaries, and healthy professional relationships.

Rather than asking educators to push emotions aside or power through, this webinar offers tools to recognize emotional signals, regulate responses, and communicate with greater clarity and compassion even on hard days.

Participants will walk away with:

  • A clearer understanding of emotional intelligence in the context of teaching
  • Insight into how emotions influence classroom dynamics and adult interactions
  • Tools to regulate emotions in real time without suppressing them
  • Strategies for responding to students and colleagues with empathy and clarity
  • Language to normalize emotional experiences while maintaining professional boundaries

This session supports educators in staying human first while strengthening their capacity to teach, lead, and connect in sustainable ways.
