About This Webinar
This interactive webinar is designed to support K–5 educators in implementing action civics as a meaningful way to increase student engagement, amplify student voice, and cultivate civic responsibility within the classroom and school community. Grounded in current research and best practices, the session will explore how action civics can empower students to identify authentic issues, investigate root causes, collaborate with peers, and develop actionable solutions that promote positive change.
Participants will engage in hands-on learning experiences and examine practical classroom examples that demonstrate how action civics can be integrated across grade levels and content areas. The session will also provide opportunities for educators to reflect on challenges within their own school communities and begin developing actionable plans that encourage student-centered problem solving and civic participation.
